GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 401
AN ACT TO REMOVE THE LIMIT ON THE PAYMENT FOR EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE PROVIDED BY MOTOR CLUBS IN NORTH CAROLINA.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. G.S. 58-69-1(5) reads as rewritten:
"(5) 'Emergency road
service' shall mean roadside adjustment of a motor vehicle so that such vehicle
may be operated under its own power, provided the cost of rendering such
service does not exceed fifty dollars ($50.00). power."
Sec. 2. This act becomes effective January 1, 1992.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 26th day of June, 1991.
