AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE JOINT AGENCIES CREATED UNDER ARTICLE 20 OF CHAPTER 160 A OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO ISSUE BONDS UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVENUE BOND ACT.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 159-81(1), the definition of "municipality", is hereby amended by adding to the list of units of government included within such definition the following: "a joint agency created pursuant to Part 1 of Article 20 of Chapter 160A of the General Statutes."

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.
