AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1240 OF THE 1971 SESSION LAWS WITH RESPECT TO A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT NORTH CAROLINA AGRICULTURAL AND TECHNICAL STATE UNIVERSITY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  The purpose of this act is to amend Chapter 1240 of the 1971 Session Laws of North Carolina with respect to a Physical and Health Education Building for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University by increasing the authorization by an amount not to exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000) on a self-liquidating basis.

Sec. 2.  Section 2 of said Chapter 1240 of the 1971 Session Laws under the institutional subheading, as indicated and affecting only the project as listed in this act, is amended to read as follows:

North Carolina Agricultural

& Technical State University

Physical & Health Education Building    $4,125,000

Fixed Equipment                                                      75,000

Movable Equipment                                                200,000

Subtotal                                                            $4,400,000

Less Self-Liquidating                                           1,000,000

Total                                                                $3,400,000

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
