SENATE BILL 258

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO DEFRAY EXPENSES OF ADMINISTERING THE CAMPAIGN REPORTING ACT AND TO DEFRAY INCREASED RESPONSIBILITIES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund to the State Board of Elections in addition to all other appropriations, the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for fiscal year 1975-1976 and the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for fiscal year 1976‑1977 for employing personnel, purchasing equipment, training county personnel and defraying all other expenses necessary for the administration of the Campaign Contributions and Spending Reporting Act.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1975.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 26th day of June, 1975.
