SENATE BILL 826

AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 7A-31 IN ORDER THAT THE STATE BE PRECLUDED FROM PETITIONING THE SUPREME COURT OF NORTH CAROLINA TO REVIEW A POST-CONVICTION PROCEEDING.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 7A-31(a) is amended by striking the words "or any cause involving review of a post-conviction proceeding" from the second paragraph thereof.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 11th day of June, 1975.
