SENATE BILL 721
AN ACT TO PERMIT THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN INVOLUNTARY COMMITMENT CASES.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. G.S. 122-58. 7(b) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"§ 122-58.7(b). The district attorney may represent the petitioner in cases of significant public interest."
Sec. 2. This act shall become effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 3rd day of June, 1975.
