SENATE BILL 39

AN ACT TO FIX THE SALARY OF THE SHERIFF OF CABARRUS COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 980, Session Laws of 1963, is hereby amended to read as follows: "The Sheriff of Cabarrus County shall be paid an annual salary of nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00), payable in equal monthly installments, out of the general fund of the County."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.
