HOUSE BILL 820

 

 

AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE HUNTING OF DEER ON OR FROM CERTAIN HIGHWAYS IN BUNCOMBE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. It shall be unlawful to hunt, kill, take, trap or attempt to hunt, kill, take or trap deer on or from the right of way of highways Interstate 40 (I-40) and Interstate 26 (I-26) in Buncombe County.

Sec. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined, or imprisoned, or both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
