AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 954, SESSION LAWS OF 1955, RELATING TO LIQUOR STORES IN THE CITY OF HENDERSONVILLE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 4 of Chapter 954, Session Laws of 1955, is hereby amended by deleting the words "City Board of Elections" in line 2, and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "governing body", and by deleting the words "City Board of Elections" in lines 8, 14, and 15, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "governing body of the City of Hendersonville".

Sec. 2. The chairman and the other two members, appointed by the governing body of the City of Hendersonville to the City Board of Alcoholic Control, shall take office on July 1, 1968.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
