AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF DUPLIN COUNTY TO EXPEND SURPLUS GENERAL FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COUNTY WELFARE BUILDING.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Duplin County is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to expend surplus general funds, which may be on hand, for the purpose of constructing and equipping a county welfare building in Duplin County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
