HOUSE BILL 218

 

 

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE HOLDING OF COURTS INFERIOR TO THE SUPERIOR COURT AND THE LOCATION OF COUNTY OFFICES IN THE COURTHOUSE ANNEX OR OTHER BUILDINGS IN LEE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Courts inferior to the Superior Court are hereby authorized to be held in the Courthouse Annex or in any other building, or buildings, located in the City of Sanford in Lee County, as designated by the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners of Lee County is hereby authorized to locate any county office, or offices, in the Courthouse Annex or in any other building, or buildings, located in Lee County, as designated by the Board.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
