HOUSE BILL 117

 

 

AN ACT DESIGNATING CERTAIN CREEKS AND RIVERS IN JONES, CARTERET AND ONSLOW COUNTIES AS COMMERCIAL FISHING WATERS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Article 25 of Chapter 113, as the same appears in Replacement 1966 Volume 3A of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by adding a new Section thereto, to be numbered G. S. 113-322 and to read as follows:

"G. S. 113-322. Certain River Designated as Commercial Fishing Waters.

"Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, or any rule, regulation, or administrative decision of Commission, the following described areas are hereby made and designated commercial fishing waters:

"(a)      White Oak River, from the point where Stella Bridge crosses said river, to Grants Creek."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
