AN ACT TO RE-ENACT CHAPTER 743 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1951 AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 726 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1953 RELATING TO THE NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 743 of the Session Laws of 1951 as amended by Chapter 726 of the Session Laws of 1953 is hereby re-enacted into law together with said amendment of Chapter 726 of the Session Laws of 1953.

Sec. 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of laws the members of the Board of Education of Transylvania County shall be nominated and elected according to the provisions of Chapter 743 of the Session Laws of 1951 as amended by Chapter 726 of the Session Laws of 1953.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
