AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1104 OF THE 1963 SESSION LAWS AS IT RELATES TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES BY WAKE COUNTY OR THE MUNICIPALITIES THEREIN.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 1104 of the 1963 Session Laws is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence of the first paragraph of Section 2 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

"The board of county commissioners is hereby authorized to call a special election at any time after the ratification of this Act but to be held no later than June 21, 1967, and may provide either of the following types of election:".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after its ratification.
