HOUSE BILL 856

AN ACT FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS OF THE CHOWAN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The compensation of the Chairman of the Chowan County Board of Education is hereby fixed at fifteen dollars ($15.00) per meeting and the compensation of the other members of the board is hereby fixed at ten dollars ($10.00) per member per meeting.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1965.
