HOUSE BILL 91

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 160 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO EXTEND THE AUTHORITY TO ARREST AND EXECUTE CRIMINAL PROCESS BY TOWN POLICEMEN TO TERRITORY OUTSIDE THE TOWN LIMITS, BUT WITHIN THREE MILES THEREOF, AS THE SAME PERTAINS TO THE TOWN OF RICHLANDS IN ONSLOW COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 160-21 is amended by striking out "within the town limits" and substituting in lieu thereof "within or without, but within a radius of three miles of, the limits of the Town of Richlands in Onslow County".

Sec. 2. The provisions of this Act shall be applicable only to the Town of Richlands in Onslow County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
