SENATE BILL 270

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 696 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1961 RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WAYNE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 696 of the Session Laws of 1961 is hereby amended by adding a new Section immediately following Section 1, to be designated as Section 1 1/2, and to read as follows:

"Sec. 1 1/2. In addition to the compensation above provided for, the chairman and each other member of the County Board of Commissioners of Wayne County shall be paid fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each special called meeting attended."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after its ratification.
