AN ACT TO MAKE THE COUNTY ACCOUNTANT OF CURRITUCK COUNTY AN APPOINTIVE OFFICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERAL STATE LAW.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 450, Session Laws of 1945, is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Upon the expiration of the term of the present County Accountant, the Board of Commissioners of Currituck County shall appoint the County Accountant. It is the intent of this Act that the office of County Accountant shall, in all respects, be subject to the general law of the State relating thereto.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect upon its ratification.
