AN ACT RELATING TO THE EXPENSE ALLOWANCE OF THE SHERIFF OF YANCEY COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. In addition to the expense allowance for travel and other expenses now allowed the Sheriff of Yancey County for the performance of his official duties, said officer shall receive the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month, payable out of the general fund of the county.

Sec. 2. The increase in the expense allowance provided for in this Act shall be retroactive to the first Monday in December 1962.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
