AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE CRAVEN COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION AND REVIEW TO SIT AS LONG AS NECESSARY TO HEAR APPEALS FROM ASSESSED VALUATIONS OF PROPERTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Craven County Board of Equalization and Review is hereby authorized to continue its sessions, notwithstanding the provisions as to the time of completion of duties in G. S. 105-327 (e), for the year 1963 until July 1, 1963, to hear all appeals which may be brought before it concerning the assessed valuations of property, and to make any adjustments which it is authorized to make under the Machinery Act, as amended, being subchapter 11 of Chapter 105 of the General Statutes.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be effective upon its ratification.
