SENATE BILL 277

 

 

AN ACT TO VALIDATE CERTAIN FORECLOSURE SALES WHERE THE SALE WAS CONDUCTED AT A PLACE OTHER THAN AS PROVIDED IN THE POWER OF SALE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 45‑21.43 as the same is found in the 1959 Cumulative Supplement to the General Statutes is hereby amended by adding following the word "county," at the end of line five thereof the words "or at some other particular place in the county in which the real estate is located, which place was in fact designated in the notice of sale."

Sec. 2.  This Act does not apply to pending litigation.

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
