AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 223, PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1937, RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF EDGECOMBE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 3 of Chapter 223, Public-Local Laws of 1937, is hereby amended by striking out the word and figures "five ($5.00)" immediately following the word "of" and immediately preceding the word "dollars" in lines 4 and 5 of said Section, and substituting in lieu thereof the word and figures "ten ($10.00)".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
