AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY OF GRANVILLE AND THE CITY OF OXFORD TO CONVEY AT PRIVATE SALE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF OXFORD.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. For such consideration as may be deemed adequate by the governing bodies of the County of Granville and the City of Oxford, said county and city are authorized to convey at private sale any part or all of that real property now owned jointly by said county and city, containing approximately ten acres more or less, lying and being in the City of Oxford and located opposite the United States Post Office in said city, and known as the W. H. Hunt property.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
